THE IDEA

Look closer.

An art exhibit inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s way of seeing beyond the obvious.

For this project, we took inspiration from the way O’Keeffe’s enlarged flowers invite us to slow down and notice what we might otherwise overlook. We wanted to bring that same change in perspective into an exhibition design.

By cutting up the center of a reproduction of one of her works, we interrupted the familiar image and invited viewers to look at it differently. The fragments, folds, and spaces became part of the experience: a chance to see more than the image at first glance.

FORM & PERSPECTIVE

An image.
Many ways
to see it.

The center is broken into smaller parts, allowing the artwork to be experienced through a new arrangement. The two-color limit keeps the focus on composition, contrast, and form.
